Neera Chopra
My name is Neera Chopra. I am very excited & fortunate to be teaching 3rd Grade at Wolfe Elementary. This is my 32nd year of teaching in Texas, and 12th year at Wolfe Elementary. My core belief is that every child deserves to be valued , treated with respect and provided an opportunity to learn in a safe and nurturing environment.
I earned a Masters in English Lit. from Delhi University in India, a High School Teaching Certificate from Ontario College of Education, Canada, and a Masters in Curriculum and Instruction from University of Houston. I love that my chosen career provides opportunities for me to grow and learn from my kiddos each day. The twinkle in their eyes when they grasp a new concept keeps me coming back each year! Summers and winter holidays find me travelling to faraway places, with friends and family or reading the latest best seller or a timeless classic. I look forward to getting to know all of you this school year! |

My name is Alex Turner, and I am so excited to be a new member of the Wolfe family! This is my first year teaching at Wolfe, and my fourth year teaching overall. I was born in South Carolina, but Texas became home when my parents and I moved to Sugarland when I was in third grade. I attended the University of Mississippi, where I graduated with a degree in Elementary and Special Education. My favorite hobbies include: being outdoors, spending time with close friends and family, listening to country music, and of course- spending time with your awesome kids!
